Located amongst the beautiful heritage buildings and gritty urbanisation of Melbourne’s Parliament district, Magic Mountain Saloon is a 3-story warehouse-like wonderland of red neon, stencilled murals and marbled bar tops. The kitchen serves traditional Thai banquets and canapés, while the bar boasts Melbourne’s most colourful cocktails, an impressive wine list and a wide selection of craft and international beers.
DJs play late into the night with an unpredictable mix of mellow, upbeat and offbeat tunes. The Top of the Mountain is available for private events of up to 100 guests. Group bookings of all sizes are welcomed for lunch or dinner, with the venue featuring loads of little nooks, corners, larger booths and bar stool lined tabletops. We sure do! We can work with you to design a perfect menu that satisfies your guests tastes, dietary requirements and preferences
I am afraid we do not allow you to play your own music. We pride ourselves in creating the perfect atmosphere for any function. Lighting management and music has always played a major part in Magic Mountain's identity and feel. Our resident DJs entertain multiple nights a week and will assure the perfect background mix for your function.
Yes you can. However, we charge $3 a head cakeage. With pre-arrangement you can drop the cake off earlier in the day, or have it delivered to us in the afternoon. Cakes must be taken away with you when you leave the venue - unfortunately we cannot hold cakes overnight for later pickup.
