The King Edward Ballroom (with stage)
The opening ceremony of the building was officiated by the Governor of Victoria, Sir Arthur Stanley on Saturday 30 May 1914. Offering a total floor space of 50m² and a ceiling height of 3.45m. Most suitable for 24 people cabaret style.
Heritage Lounge
An aura of timeless elegance sets the tone for the hotels beautifully restored 1900’s Club Reading Room. Boasting dark timber paneling, leadlight windows, ornate ceilings and plenty of natural light and street views. Features 100m² of space and a ceiling height of 3.05m. Suitable for 56 seated guests cabaret style.
Tompkins Room
Harry Tompkins was the designer and architect of the Commercial Travellers Association Building and one of Melbourne’s best commercial architects. Offering a total floor space of 60m² and a ceiling height of 3.45m. Most suitable for 30 guests classroom style.
Mendoza Room
Titled after Alfred Mendoza, a member of the Commercial Travellers Association for 55 years and appointed President three times and Vice-President on a number of occasions over a period of 27 years.
