Our elevated area is sectioned off to create a private platform. It has polished wooden floors and a waist-level border around the section, creating a cosy atmosphere. Full-size windows lining one side bring in plenty of natural light.

The Long Room at Tazio offers a variety of table configurations. In this long room with a tile ribbon streaming down one side of the wall, we can seat up to 38 guests on one large family table - one of the only Melbourne restaurants able to do so. Alternatively, the Long Room can seat up to 46 guests on tables parallel to one another. The length allows for an excellent range of choices.

Located directly above our restaurant, our balcony is among the biggest in Flinders Lane. The area provides coverage against any type of weather, along with a 180° view of the inner city. Plants line the side of the balcony, livening up the space. This area extends in a long open strip, perfect for drinks or a casual dinner.

The Platform’ and ‘Long Room’ can be booked together to create a combined space that can fit up to 88 guests seated and 150+ guests standing.

This unique area features large patterned tiles lining one wall and a floor-to-ceiling mirror on the other. The space is similar to a “L” shape, with a bar at the centre. Our bar offers an extensive list of spirits, along with an international list of wines and beers. This area is commonly used for small standing functions, with the ability to stand up to 75 people. Often booked with our terraces, the area offers an indoor/outdoor flow convenient for making the most of the location.

With two separate terrace areas at street level on Flinders Lane, Tazio's outside dining areas provide full coverage from the elements and heating. Each area has 3 parallel secured tables that can seat up to 38 guests. The area has wooden tables and seating, along with wooden slated floors. For a private function, you can choose to make this area smoking or non-smoking

This sunken area sits just below street level as a stylish open space. Just like the Street Level Bar it has large patterned tiles covering all sides. This secluded area creates a private atmosphere for you and your guests. The space can be joined with the second lower level that has a family-sized wooden table, suitable for larger groups of up to 42.

Our large wooden table sits on its own mezzanine level, ideal for small functions. This table can seat up to 12 people and offers a cosy setting for conversation.

For a premium function, all spaces downstairs can be hired together. This allows for a large group to sit at 80+ people across different spaces, or 116 people standing.
