It’s an iconic Melbourne view, looking down over Flinders Street and along the Yarra, or west to the city skyline. On a Saturday afternoon, it’s synonymous with delicious bar meals and beers with the football on the big screen. On a Saturday evening, it comes to life with music and champagne and cocktails, late into the night. Open Thursday through Sunday, The Deck has long been a place to congregate with friends for after work drinks, weekend lunches, and Saturday night dance sessions.
The Galley Room is the Waterside’s quiet counterpart, sitting on the level above with views down Flinders Street and over to The Yarra River. And while down stairs is very much a public space, The Galley room has always been a place for private parties and more intimate affairs, with mood music and lights, opulent interiors and a long list of classic spirits and cocktails from around the world.
