The Southern Point Room is an intimate space accommodating up to 110 guests standing or 40 seated. Featuring custom designed bar and hand cut glass chandelier.
Catering for cocktail parties, private functions, sit down lunches or dinners from 20 guests or more, you can be assured of a beautiful event to mark your special occasion. Please note, minimum spends apply for all private events. Whether it be to celebrate an engagement, milestone anniversary, birthday or christening your Eureka 89 event coordinator will assist with the planning of all details to ensure your memorable occasion is a huge success.
Eureka 89 also offers a degustation dining experience, with glorious views through floor to ceiling windows. With seating for tables of 2 through to larger groups of up to 24, dining at Eureka 89 is available Tuesday through to Saturday from 6pm and also Sunday lunch, featuring a 5 or 7 course degustation menu.
Frequently Asked Questions
The minimum spends vary depending on day of the week and month of the year. Should this minimum spend not be achieved, the shortfall will be charged as room hire.
All other costs including security, AV and external suppliers are in addition to the minimum spend amount.
Please note that your final event cost will total a higher amount than the minimum spend amount

This charge is a requirement for our venue due to the size of the building, and also includes a host at the ground floor, level 88 and a cloakroom attendant for your guests.
Photo booths are welcome however we do recommend that you hire an all enclosed booth as the open or freestanding set ups reflect heavily on the glass impacting the ambience in the room
There are also numerous tram and bus routes which drop near to the Southbank area.
Preferred Eureka Level 89 visitor rates apply when exiting before 6am the following day.
