With iconic Mt Coolum dominating the background, the views from the main function room, appropriately named the Mt Coolum Room, are simply spectacular. It is an ideal setting for a wedding for up to 120 guests.

The club can arrange for private access to the function, and our staff and head chef will be delighted to craft a reception, and a menu, to your requirements. 

Included in every conference package is a dedicated coordinator for your event who will liaise with you from start to finish, meaning every detail will be covered and every request fulfilled with ease.

MINIMUM NUMBERS
The minimum number for function is 20 delegates, however smaller functions can be catered
for after discussions with the Operation Manager.
In accordance with our liquor licensing responsibilities, we are unable to permit liquor to be bought onto the
premises. With health regulations, no food can be brought onto the premises for consumption, and no food can be removed from a function as take away.

The Classic Smart Meeting Picnic Package for 30 to 80 Delegates.

The Mount Coolum Room is set in your preferred style of Classroom or Cabaret with tables set with water and mints and refreshed at each break.

The terrace area overlooking the golf course with it's own private bar for allowable drinks is set for the food and beverage breaks to allow delegates to relax and enjoy the event.

The room includes a table and lectern for the speakers along with an HDMI connection for the laptops brought by the presenter*. The rooms advanced AV also allows guests to screen mirror from the MRGC* supplied laptop in this package, so you only need to bring your USB for presentations.

We also provide signage for delegates and a registration table at the entry to the room.

We provide free WIFI for the presenters, roof mounted Epson Projector along with a large wall mounted screen, a lectern and handheld microphone as part of the package. The dimmer lights allow the team to adjust the lighting for presenters, and natural lighting is available with the adjustable blinds if required. Air-conditioning is set at a comfortable 24 degrees and can be adjusted as needed during the event as it is an independant ducted system for the room.

With Weddings becoming very personalised, and people celebrating 2nd and third marriages, this Do It Yourself  (D.I.Y) Wedding Package allows you to do all the little special touches yourself and make the wedding as elaborate as you wish with external wedding stylists, or doing it yourself with friends.

This room hire provides the Mount Coolum Room which seats up to 100 guests in either a round cabaret style or long table banquet style for your Wedding. The room hire price of $1,500.00 provides you with a blank canvas of the hard setting of the room with linen tablecloths and linen napkins, cutlery, water glasses, S&P, and  standard function chairs. The use of the rooms advanced lighting and sound system is included for the setting of the mood for the Wedding.

You are provided the room at 8am on the morning of the Wedding with the tables,chairs and cutlery set ready for your stylists to then add the flowers, name place cards, table seating maps, music DJ setup or bluetooth internal sound setup, and if you are having chair covers & sashes these are best done last. The room is then yours up until 11:30pm that night, and all items you have brought in will need to be removed by 9am the next day. (We can store then till 12pm if needed)

You then add on the Classic Wedding 2 Course Package (D.I.Y) menu which includes an alternate drop entree and main meal for you and your guests. There are high quality menu choices including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options for both entrees and main meals. Children Meals are available for those 5-12 years of age for $33.00 per child. Specific dietary meals are available outside of the choices at an additional costs, priced by the chef if needed.

The Wedding Package includes regular set meeting times with the Wedding Team Co-Ordinator in the leadup to the Wedding to make the day flow smoothly. With a minimum of 60 adult guests, this is an affordable high quality wedding to suit budgets.

Your Wedding Stylist can work with the Cane Cutters Function Team to maximise the area for your ceremony. This area is also available for large tents or marquees to seat 100 plus guests for the outdoor reception.

As a privately owned members golf course, this area is only available for hire if you are having your Wedding Reception with the Cane Cutters Function.

The Executive Smart Meeting Gourmet Package for 30 to 80 Delegates.

The Mount Coolum Room is set in your preferred style of Classroom or Cabaret with tables set with water and mints and refreshed at each break.

The terrace area overlooking the golf course with it's own private bar for allowable drinks is set for the food and beverage breaks to allow delegates to relax and enjoy the event.

The room includes a table and lectern for the speakers along with an HDMI connection for the laptops brought by the presenter*. The rooms advanced AV also allows guests to screen mirror from the MRGC* supplied laptop in this package, so you only need to bring your USB for presentations.

We also provide signage for delegates and a registration table at the entry to the room.

We provide free WIFI for the presenters and the delegates,roof mounted Epson Projector along with a large wall mounted screen, a lectern and 2x handheld microphone as part of the package. The dimmer lights allow the team to adjust the lighting for presenters, and natural lighting is available with the adjustable blinds if required. Air-conditioning is set at a comfortable 24 degrees and can be adjusted as needed during the event as it is an independant ducted system for the room.

The Executive Smart Meeting Gourmet Package includes arrival tea and freshly brewed filter coffee at a set station and it is refreshed at morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

Classic 2 Course Wedding Package Do It Yourself (D.I.Y)

With Weddings becoming very personalised, and people celebrating 2nd and third marriages, this Do It Yourself  (D.I.Y) Wedding Package allows you to do all the little special touches yourself and make the wedding as elaborate as you wish with external wedding stylists, or doing it yourself with friends.

This room hire provides the Mount Coolum Room which seats up to 100 guests in either a round cabaret style or long table banquet style for your Wedding. The room hire price of $1,500.00 provides you with a blank canvas of the hard setting of the room with linen tablecloths and linen napkins, cutlery, water glasses, S&P, and  standard function chairs. The use of the rooms advanced lighting and sound system is included for the setting of the mood for the Wedding.

You are provided the room at 8am on the morning of the Wedding with the tables,chairs and cutlery set ready for your stylists to then add the flowers, name place cards, table seating maps, music DJ setup or bluetooth internal sound setup, and if you are having chair covers & sashes these are best done last. The room is then yours up until 11:30pm that night, and all items you have brought in will need to be removed by 9am the next day. (We can store then till 12pm if needed)

You then add on the Classic Wedding 2 Course Package (D.I.Y) menu which includes an alternate drop entree and main meal for you and your guests. There are high quality menu choices including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options for both entrees and main meals. Children Meals are available for those 5-12 years of age for $33.00 per child. Specific dietary meals are available outside of the choices at an additional costs, priced by the chef if needed.

The Wedding Package includes regular set meeting times with the Wedding Team Co-Ordinator in the leadup to the Wedding to make the day flow smoothly. With a minimum of 60 adult guests, this is an affordable high quality wedding to suit budgets.
